About Gold Pyramid Stage and Screen
Our Story
The outcome of the George Floyd incident and the COVID-19 pandemic had an undeniable global impact, shifting views on social, cultural, and economic sustainability in the United States.
This phenomenon also necessitated innovation, which inspired new opportunities for entertainment businesses to pivot and update their business models to leverage increased demand for flexible delivery formats and diverse story-telling genres.
Our goal is to write screenplays, stage plays, and teleplays that will instill pride in our ancestry, motivate real change, and provide insights that will deeply move an audience.
Strengthening Local Culture
Gold Pyramid Screen and Stage LLC values collaboration and actively seeks partnerships with local artists, organizations, and venues. By engaging with the community, we aim to create productions that are both impactful and reflective of the diverse experiences within Pittsburgh and the broader Western Pennsylvania region. This collaborative approach enriches our creative output and strengthens our ties to the local cultural landscape.
Our organizational structure is carefully designed to support our mission of delivering compelling, socially relevant productions while fostering an inclusive environment that nurtures talent and encourages community participation. This structure allows us to balance artistic innovation and operational sustainability dynamically, positioning Gold Pyramid Screen and Stage LLC as a leading force in Pittsburgh's cultural scene and beyond.
Outside of the productions, we also provide training and employment opportunities that would not otherwise exist or be available for our community, including opportunities for writers, actors, and technicians in the African American community of artists.
