About Lorenzo Boone

Our CEO, Lorenzo Boone, is a local screenwriter, playwright, producer, actor, and filmmaker. His first movie, Woogie, screened by Carnegie Screenwriters’ Film Festival, WQED Filmmaker’s Corner, Pittsburgh Black Film Network, and Sabiri Cole Film Festival.

Boone holds a BA in Theatre and Business from the University of Pittsburgh, an MA from Wilkes University in Creative Writing, and an MFA from Point Park University in Writing for the Screen and Stage. Additionally, he underwent the Pittsburgh Filmmakers Intensive (2017) and became a Pittsburgh Filmmaker/Pittsburgh Center for the Arts Fellow.
